BURGLARY: Police are investigating an apparent burglary on the 1400 block of High Street in which an unknown suspect or suspects kicked in a door, entered a city-owned building, and possibly removed items before fleeing in an unknown direction. VEHICLE THEFT ARREST: Alameda police arrested William Morris Haskins, 18, an Alameda resident, on charges of vehicle theft. After four hours of deliberations Monday, a jury voted to find Quochuy “Tony” Tran guilty of the Halloween 2007 slaying of Ichinkhorloo “Iko” Bayarsaikhan.
