Habitat for Humanity hosts Alameda home improvement sale
The nonprofit homebuilder is hosting a sale out of its Alameda Point warehouse at 150 West Trident Avenue this weekend. The sale begins with a preview for wholesalers and contractors from noon to 4 p.m. Friday, and opens to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Items for sale include pallets of brand new wood cabinets in assorted sizes and models and new interior lighting, nails and screws, fence post protectors and other items typically sold at Habitat’s ReStore, a nonprofit store whose sales benefit the construction of Habitat homes. Proceeds from items sold at the event – which include two 30-foot step deck truck trailers – will also help Habitat build new homes; the items were donated by developers or suppliers who were unable to complete projects.
A complete list of items for sale, terms and additional information are available on Habitat for Humanity East Bay’s website.
