FALSE IMPRISONMENT AND RAPE ARREST: Police arrested an Alameda man on charges of rape, false imprisonment, and spousal abuse after he allegedly raped his wife, tied her up, and punched her. The man faces an additional charge of violating a court order, authorities said.

Stolen vehicles: White 1993 GMC pickup, between 4:30 p.m. and January 30 and 7:30 a.m. today, from the 900 block of Shorepoint Court.

Tan 2003 Ford pickup, between midnight January 27 and 11:52 p.m. today, from the area of Dayton Avenue and Sherman Street.

ATTEMPTED COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: A person or persons attempted to burglarize Silver Baron on the 1400 block of Park Street, police said.

Stolen bicycle: Black and silver Trek Medone, between 1:45 p.m. and 1:50 p.m. today, from the 200 block of Packet Landing Road.

COMPUTER FRAUD: Police said an individual accessed another person’s computer and altered or deleted data without permission. According to authorities, the incident involved people who live together.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: A suspect or suspects used a pick axe in an attempt to pry open the rear door of a residence on the 1000 block of Central Avenue, authorities said. According to police, the axe belonged to a neighbor.

Stolen vehicles: Black 1998 Nissan Maxima, between 5 p.m. January 27 and 7 a.m. January 28, from the 2200 block of Buena Vista Avenue.

Burgundy 2000 Saturn, between 11 p.m. February 1 and 8:30 a.m. today, from the 900 block of Broadway.

ASSAULT WITH WEAPON: Police arrested Nizam Uddin, 25, of Alameda for assault with a deadly weapon after Uddin hit another individual with a wooden stick, causing a visible injury. Uddin also faces a charge of vandalism for allegedly breaking the victim’s cell phone, police said.

Stolen bicycle: Silver Giant Sedona, between 3 p.m. and 3:50 p.m. today, from the 1600 block of Moreland Drive.

BATTERY: Police said two individuals punched each other. Neither desired prosecution, authorities said.

BAD CHECKS: A suspect cashed two altered checks at Ez Liquor 2 on the 90o block of Lincoln Avenue, police said. The store has been the location of similar incidents, including one that resulted in a January arrest.

ROBBERY: Police are investigating a report of a robbery on the 1400 block of Park Street. The incident is unrelated to other recent robbery incidents, authorities said.

ATTEMPTED ASSAULT WITH WEAPON: An individual swung a hammer in an attempt to hit a second person, police said. According to authorities, the two individuals then got into a physical fight.

Stolen bicycle: Black Diamondback Trace Pro, between midnight February 2 and 5 a.m. today, from the 900 block of Shorepoint Court.

Saturday, February 5

SHOOTING: Police are investigating a shooting into an occupied vehicle on the 1400 block of Park Street. The incident was reported by witnesses, police said, and both cars fled the scene. According to authorities, it is not clear whether or not the incident is related to a similar incident that occurred on January 20 on the 2000 block of Park Street.

FALSE IMPRISONMENT ARREST: Police arrested an Alameda man for false imprisonment, domestic battery and doing harm to a telephone after the man allegedly assaulted his partner, cut the telephone line and forced her to stay in the residence against her will.

BURGLARY: An unknown suspect or suspects stole items from a garage on the 2200 block of Buena Vista Avenue, police said.

BURGLARY: An unknown suspect or suspects stole items from storage units on the 2100 block of Santa Clara Avenue, police said.

BATTERY: Police said two individuals got into a physical fight over a telephone.

ROBBERY: Police are investigating a report of a burglary on the 2200 block of Encinal Avenue in which an unknown suspect is alleged to have stolen an iPod, headphones, and money from a victim. The incident is unrelated to other recent robbery incidents, authorities said.

ROBBERY: An unknown suspect allegedly hit an individual in the face with a pistol, police said. According to authorities, the victim sustained “significant injuries.” The incident is unrelated to other recent robberies, police said.

BURGLARY: A person or persons cut the lock to a storage unit on the 1300 block of Ferry Point and entered it, police said.

SEX OFFENSE: Police are investigating a sex offense in which a suspect pushed a juvenile to the ground, forced her to kiss him and then digitally molested her.

Stolen vehicles: Green Honda Accord, between 10 p.m. February 5 and 1:45 a.m. today, from the 1400 block of Park Street.

Blue Honda Civic, between 10 p.m. February 2 and 8:55 a.m. today, from the area of Mecartney Road and Aughinbaugh Way.

Silver Acura Legend, between 6 p.m. and 9:17 p.m.February 5, from the 2000 block of Eagle Avenue.

Stolen bicycle: Black KHS XC504, between 5 p.m. January 31 and 8:30 a.m. February 4, from the 2800 block of Buena Vista Avenue.
