GRAND THEFT FROM BOAT: A person or persons took an outboard engine from a boat on the 2000 block of Clement Avenue, police said.
TRESPASSING ARREST: Police arrested Daniel Frias Landeros, 24, of San Jose for trespassing. According to authorities, he entered a property on the 1800 block of Elm Street for unknown reasons.
BAD CHECKS ARREST: Police arrested Terrence Walker Nash, 40, of Alameda for passing a fraudulent check at Lincoln Avenue grocery store Ez Liquor 2 on January 14. Nash also had two outstanding warrants, police said.
Tuesday, January 25
BURGLARY: An unknown suspect or suspects pried open the front door to a building on the 300 block of Cyprus Street, police said. According to authorities, no items appear to be missing.
PURSE THEFT: An unknown suspect stole a wallet containing a credit card from a purse while the victim was at Togo’s on the 700 block of Atlantic Avenue, police said. The suspect then used the credit card to fraudulently obtain goods outside of Alameda.
GRAND THEFT FROM PERSON: Police said a juvenile suspect took property from another juvenile at Nea Community Learning Center. The property has been recovered and the suspect has been dealt with, authorities said.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: A suspect or suspect pried open a storage closet at Public Storage on the 1800 block of Webster Street, police said. It was the most recent in a string of burglaries of storage containers at the facility.
SEX OFFENSE: Police said an under-age victim engaged in sexual intercourse with an adult individual.
Stolen bicycle: Black Trek 15-speed with a basket on the handlebars, between 4 p.m. and 5:35 p.m. today, from the 1500 block of Santa Clara Avenue.
Wednesday, January 26
BURGLARY: An unknown suspect or suspects broke into a locked storage room on the 2400 block of Shoreline Drive and removed items, police said.
GRAND THEFT: Police are investigating the theft of items from a 92-year-old resident of the Waters Edge Nursing Home on Bay Farm Island. The thefts occurred over a period of time, authorities said.
BATTERY: An individual punched another individual for an unknown reason on the 1000 block of Eagle Avenue, police said.
DISTURBING BIRD SANCTUARY ARREST: Police arrested Gregory Olin Dubelle, 48, of Alameda when Dubelle was found in a prohibited area on the 2400 block of Shoreline Drive. Dubelle was found to have disturbed the natural habitat of a bird sanctuary and was arrested for violating local ordinances, authorities said.
BATTERY: Two individuals were involved in a physical altercation on the 1800 block of Park Street, police said.
JAIL DAMAGE ARREST: Police arrested Bobby Jamison, 24, of Alameda for causing nearly $2,230 worth of damage to the city jail after Jamison allegedly flushed a jail-issued towel down the toilet on January 24.
Thursday, January 27
AUTO THEFT AND HIT AND RUN: Police said a person or persons abandoned a vehicle at the scene of a misdemeanor hit-and-run collision on the 1600 block of Santa Clara Avenue. Upon attempting to locate the registered owner, police discovered that the car was an unreported vehicle stolen from San Leandro, authorities said.
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY: Police said a suspect or suspects burglarized the Valero gas station on the 1700 block of Park Street.
PETTY THEFT FROM BOAT: An unknown suspect or suspects took a motor from a boat on the 1100 block of Ballena Boulevard, police said.
Friday, January 28
PETTY THEFT: Police are searching for the person or persons who took two paintings from the lobby of the Bay View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Willow Street. The unknown suspect or suspects also stole three walkie talkies from the reception desk, authorities said.
SEXUAL BATTERY: Police said an individual touched another individual in a sexual manner without her consent.
Stolen vehicles: Blue 1994 Nissan Sentra, between 11 p.m. January 27 and 8 a.m. today, from the 300 block of Tideway Drive.
Black 1994 Nissan Sentra, between 6 p.m. January 27 and 7 a.m. today, from the 1500 block of Lafayette Street.
Saturday, January 29
ROBBERY: Police said unknown suspects pushed an individual against a fence and removed items from his pockets in the vicinity of Bay Street and Lincoln Avenue.
BURGLARY: A person or persons pried open the door to a shared storage room on the 900 block of Shorepoint Court, searched several boxes and then fled, police said. According to authorities, it is unknown at this time if anything was stolen.
Sunday, January 20
ASSAULT WITH DEADLY WEAPON: Police said an individual was driving on the 2000 block of Park Street near Blanding Avenue when the car was apparently shot at for unknown reasons. A vehicle window appears to have been shot out, authorities said.
BURGLARY: A suspect entered a locked residence on the 1600 block of Dayton Avenue through a dog door, completed a selective search and then fled with stolen items, police said.
