Students of the Virago Theatre Company’s summer conservatory are set to perform the play they wrote and directed tonight at Rhythmix Cultural Works, 2513 Blanding Avenue. They’ll have a bake sale to support the conservatory beginning at 6 p.m and the show begins at 7.

This year’s show is titled “The Bad Guys Who Were Trapped In The Stone And The Time They Escaped.” Plot synopsis:

The leaders of future earth, the vampires, humans and gods must work together to keep the peace. With the character stone broken and the towns in chaos, will the different races band together to contain the villains?

Perhaps best of all, the audience gets to decide where the characters go. And all this fun is available for just five bucks (tickets are available online or by calling 865-6237).

The show is directed by Brittany K. McGregor, with help from assistant directors Alec Mathieson and Emerald Lugtu. The show features Avery Andrews, Kimmy Carter, Sam Brodnitz, Susannah Brodnitz, Evelyn Dill, Jessica Lundy-Paine, Anaise Lowe, Gabby Smith, Madeline Smith and Nicolas Warmerdam.
