GRAND THEFT: Police are looking for the person or persons who, they said, took a 16-foot rowboat from its mooring on the 2400 block of Mariner Square Drive. Police said that sometime between 10 a.m. April 30 and 8:30 a.m. May 1, someone used bolt cutters to cut the lock securing the Alden rowboat to its dock. The boat, which is valued at $4,950, has a white hull and blue top with sliding seat, carbon fiber oars and a black and burgundy “sunbrella” cover.

BURGLARY: Police are looking for a known suspect in a burglary on the 1400 block of Broadway. Police said that sometime between 9:40 a.m. and 5:14 p.m., someone entered the apartment and took a television, computer and jacket valued at $750. They believe the suspect used a key to enter the apartment.

BURGLARY: Police are looking for an unknown person or persons who, they said, broke into a home on the 1400 block of Santa Clara Avenue and took a laptop, cell phone, cash and a backpack valued at $634. Police said that sometime between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m., the suspect or suspects pried open a side window of the home, took the items and fled.

ASSAULT ARREST: Police arrested Cedric Nigail Cotton, 55, no address given, on warrants for assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence and making criminal threats. He was arrested at 11:45 a.m. in Fairfield.

Stolen bicycles: Silver and pink Myka Sport mountain bike, between noon and 4 p.m., from the 1100 block of Paru Street.

Wednesday, May 5

DRUNK DRIVING ARREST: Police arrested Peter Edward Keenan, 41, of Alameda, on drunk driving and child endangerment charges. Police said they stopped Keenan, who they said was driving on a suspended license, at 1:09 a.m. on the 1500 block of High Street and that he was unable to satisfactorily complete field sobriety tests. They said Keenan also had his child in the car. The child was turned over to their mother.

Thursday, May 6

SEXUAL BATTERY: Police are looking for a suspect in an alleged sexual battery. Police said that at 3 p.m., the victim was walking north on Main Street and Pacific Avenue when the suspect allegedly came up behind her and touched her hair and buttocks. Police described the suspect as a black male in his 40s, 5’7″ and 200 pounds, with short hair and a thin moustache and sideburns, and no eyebrows. They said he was last seen driving a green, four-door Toyota.

Stolen bicycles: Blue and white 2006 Trek 1000 road bike, between 1 p.m. and 1:20 p.m. April 30, from the 2200 block of Southshore Center.

Friday, May 7

*

BATTERY: Police are investigating an alleged battery on the 2200 block of San Antonio Avenue. Police said that shortly after midnight, they received a call about two people physically fighting. Police arrived and spoke with the victim and the suspect.

BURGLARY: Police are looking for the person or persons who, they said, broke into the machinery room of a business on the 100 block of West Oriskaney Avenue. Police said the alleged burglary took place between 3 p.m. May 5 and 1:51 p.m. today. They did not say if anything was taken.

BURGLARY: Police are looking for two suspects who allegedly broke into a Coast Guard Island home and took laptop computers and a video game valued at $1,400. Police said that sometime between 2:15 p.m. and 2:50 p.m., the suspects entered the home through a dog door, took the items and fled.

BATTERY: Police arrested Bianca Dorea Patino, 18, of Alameda, on a battery charge. Police, who were dispatched to the 2000 block of Central Avenue shortly after 6 p.m., said Patino allegedly punched a victim repeatedly in the side of the head.

Saturday, May 8

BATTERY: Police are investigating an alleged battery on the 2400 block of Central Avenue. Police said the incident allegedly occurred at about 6:45 p.m. when the suspect became angry with the victim and punched him in the face.

BATTERY ARREST: Police arrested Joshua Allen Clayton, 20, of Alameda, on a battery charge. Police said they responded to a disturbance call at Clayton’s residence and discovered that he had a warrant for his arrest.

Sunday, May 9

*

BATTERY: Police are investigating a battery alleged to have occurred at a local bar. Police said that at 1 a.m., the suspect allegedly pushed a cocktail glass against a victim’s head during an argument at the bar, at the 1300 block of Park Street.

BURGLARY: Police are investigating an alleged burglary of a residence on the 2200 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police said that sometime between 11:30 p.m. May 8 and 8:30 a.m. today, someone forced the victim’s bedroom window open, stole jewelry and DVDs and fled. Police did not say how much the missing items are worth.

GRAND THEFT: Police are investigating the alleged theft of a laptop computer from a residence on the 1700 block of San Antonio Avenue. Police said that the suspect visited the victim at her residence and that between 9 p.m. and 9:45 p.m., he allegedly took the laptop, which is valued at $600.

Stolen bicycles: Two bicycles, unknown make and model, between 4 p.m. and 6:29 p.m., from the 1800 block of Alameda Avenue.
