Kiwanis pancake breakfast is Sunday
Missed out on Mother’s Day? Or do ya just have a hankering for pancakes? Well, you can satisfy that need and do a good turn for some local charities by attending the local Kiwanis’ pancake breakfast this Sunday, May 16.
Tickets for this 60th annual event are $10 and are available online, at the door or by calling 326-1983. Kids 5 and under eat free.
The menu for Sunday’s breakfast includes pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, home potatoes, biscuit and gravy, fresh strawberries, coffee, tea and juice. And that’ll be served from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Elks Lodge Rathskeller, 2255 Santa Clara Avenue.
Profits from the event will benefit Alameda charities. And the Kiwanis would like to thank Nob Hill of Alameda, La Piñata and Alameda Kiwanian Dr. Bruce Bothwell for their generous donations.
