Wolverines Pop Warner Football holds open house Saturday

Alameda Wolverines Pop Warner Football is holding an open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday, March 13 at Lum Elementary School, 1801 Sandcreek Way.

The open house will offer families the chance to meet the new Greater Golden Gate Conference team’s coaches and to sign up children ages 7 to 14 for the teams (there are four age brackets) and cheer. The cost for football is $150, and the cost of cheer is to be determined.

More information is available on the Wolverines’ website (which boasts a great countdown clock and the Monday Night Football theme), and they’ve also got a Facebook group.

  1. Hello,

My name is Charisse Hendricks and my son is interested in playing football. He is 13 years old. He has not played organized football before but very interested in learning how to play. Do you have football practice in the Summer? How can I find out more informationa about joining. Thanks for any information you can provide.
