BATTERY ARREST: Police arrested Michael Mio Flores, 18, of Alameda, on a battery charge. Police said Flores had a warrant out for the charge and that he turned himself in.

HIT AND RUN: Police are looking for a driver who struck and injured a passenger and then fled the scene of the accident. Police said that at 9:51 a.m., someone driving a Subaru of unknown model or color struck a pedestrian on private property on the 1000 block of Broadway. Police described the driver as a male, aged 45 to 50, about 5’9” and 180 pounds.

IDENTITY THEFT: Police are looking for the person or persons who used a local woman’s credit cards to purchase $4,940.60 worth of airline tickets. Police said the alleged crime occurred sometime between March 18 and March 20.

SENIOR ABUSE: Police are looking for the person or persons who conned a local senior into sending money to Nigeria via Western Union in late February. Police did not say how much money the victim sent.

IDENTITY THEFT: Police are trying to find out who opened a host of financial and credit accounts using the personal information of a local couple. They said the suspect or suspects have run up bills in the thousands of dollars. Police said the victims began shopping for a real estate lender to help them purchase a new home between November 2009 and this past February. The couple began receiving a flood of correspondence to their home in March advising them of new accounts they said they never opened.

GRAND THEFT: Police are looking for the person or persons who, they said, stole cash and jewelry worth $4,788 from a residence on the 300 block of Kittyhawk Road. Police said that sometime between 10 p.m. February 27 and 5 p.m. today, someone went into the victim’s bedroom and took the items.

POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY ARREST: Police arrested Chris James Yorrie, 36, no address given, on a possession of stolen property charge. Police said they contacted Yorrie following a report of a suspicious person possibly breaking into vehicles parked at a hotel on the 1300 bock of Marina Village Parkway. They said Yorrie was found to be in possession of a GPS device, phone charger and change that they determined belonged to one of the victims’ vehicles. Police arrested Yorrie at 4:12 a.m. and transported him to Alameda City Jail.

BURGLARY: Police are looking for the person or persons who broke into a Crolls Garden Court townhouse and took computers and other items. Police said the victim was out for a walk between 4:20 p.m. and 5 p.m. when someone pried open a sliding door to his townhouse and took the items. They described the suspect as a black male, age 19, 6’1” and 140 pounds. The suspect was last seen wearing a red and black plaid hat, a tan dress shirt, black jeans, black shoes and a black coat.

Stolen bicycles: Specialized Hardrock mountain bike with baby seat and cable lock, between 10:15 p.m. March 24 and 7 a.m. today, from the 1300 block of Ballena Boulevard.

Red and white Schwinn cruiser with basket on front, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., from the 1900 block of Webster Street.

Stolen autos: Black 1992 Acura Integra two-door, between noon March 21 and 6:30 a.m. March 25, from the 300 block of Tideway Drive. The vehicle was later found in Tracy.

Stolen bicycles: Specialized Carmel, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., from the 1900 block of Park Street.

BURGLARY: Police are looking for the person or persons who broke into an apartment on the 2100 block of San Jose Avenue and stole a computer and hard drive valued at $3,500. Police said the alleged crime occurred sometime between 10:30 a.m. march 26 and 11 a.m. today.

BURGLARY: Police are looking for the person or persons who, they said, broke into a hotel room on the 400 block of Park Street and took a computer valued at $1,350. Police said the alleged crime took place sometime between 10 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. March 26.

Sunday, March 28

POSSESSION OF BURGLARY TOOLS: Police arrested Gregory Ollen Dubelle, 47, of Alameda, on a charge of possession of burglary tools. Police said Dubelle was stopped by a security officer for being on private property on the 500 block of Wind River Way without a lawful purpose. Dubelle was found to be in possession of burglary tools, police said. They arrested Dubelle at 1:32 a.m. and transported him to Alameda City Jail.
