Real Estate Roundup with Sharon Alva: On vacation
Sharon Alva’s on vacation this week, so in her absence I thought I’d point you to this handy resource for the statistically inclined, DQ News. They’re reporting that Bay Area home sales dipped in February compared to the same month a year ago, but prices rose.
In Alameda, median prices actually declined, from $525,000 in February 2009 to $500,000 this past February. Sales also dipped, particularly on Bay Farm Island, which saw sales volume decline year-over-year by 69 percent.
