The San Jose Mercury News is reporting that the search for a missing Alameda woman has been called off. The paper is reporting that investigators will begin trying to track her through computer and credit card records.

Katherine Truitt, 37, was last seen Thursday by a roommate. A pickup truck linked to her was spotted by a ranger in a lot next to McClures Beach in Marin on Friday and Saturday, and dozens of rescue workers searched for her in vain there Saturday and Sunday.

The paper is reporting that the Marin County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about Truitt, who is 6 feet tall and weighs 145 lbs., to call them at (415) 479-2311.
