January 5, Wood at Chipman – Boys

The Alameda Education Foundation’s Middle School Basketball program began with a fast-action, competitive match as the Chipman Middle School Cougars Boys teams hosted Wood Middle School.

In “A” team action, the Cougars took an early lead, but the Wood Beavers made steady gains to come out on top, 38-29. Both teams showed up with springs in their feet and some pretty impressive passing prowess for the first game of the season.

In “B” team action it was Chipman over Wood, 40-29.

The “B” team game was a highly defensive game with Wood inching out ahead, 13-9.
