apDeveloper SunCal spent $135,277.75 on its campaign to pass its Alameda Point development initiative between July 1 and September 30, a recently released campaign disclosure statement shows.

The disclosure form for the developer’s campaign committee, Revitalize Alameda Point, showed nearly $60,000 in contributions during the three-month filing period and nearly $43,000 in outstanding debt for the measure, which had not yet qualified for the ballot when the monies were spent.

The company has spent $707,563.27 on the initiative, which has since been dubbed Measure B, since the beginning of this year, the form shows.

The 26-page form can be viewed in the City Clerk’s document database, here (click the “Campaign Disclosure” link and then the second link for November 2009).

Additional reports are due on Christmas Eve and then again in late January, City Clerk Lara Weisiger said.

Oh, and by the way – one other Point-related tidbit: Councilman Frank Matarrese said last week that the Navy is commissioning divers to head into the Seaplane Lagoon to see if they can figure out what a mysterious object parked on the lagoon floor is. That’s slated to happen Wednesday. If I hear anything more on it, I’ll let you know.
