AUTO THEFT: Police are looking for the person or persons who took a burgundy 1991 Acura Legend from the 1800 block of Poggi Street. Police said the car’s owner last saw it at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday and that he found it missing at 7:10 a.m. today. The estimated value of the car was not known.

BURGLARY: Police are looking for the person or persons who stole a tile saw from a common storage area in a condominium complex on Shorepoint Court. Police said the burglary occurred between 5 p.m. Friday and 7 p.m. Sunday. The saw was valued at $150.

BURGLARY: Police are investigating the burglary of computers from the storage area of an Otis Drive apartment complex. Police said the computers were taken sometime between noon on Saturday and 10 a.m. today from the storage cabinet in the apartment complex’s parking area. Their value was estimated at $2,200.

AUTO THEFT: Police are looking for the person or persons who took a silver 1991 Toyota Corolla from the 2400 block of Haile Avenue. The theft occurred sometime between 9:20 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday. A value estimate on the vehicle was not given.

GRAND THEFT: Police are looking for the person or persons who took music equipment valued at $4,465 from a vehicle parked on Marina Drive. Police said the theft occurred sometime between 2:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. today. The items taken were not identified.

GRAND THEFT: Police are looking for the person or persons who stole tools and computer equipment valued at $2,380 from a locked vehicle. Police said the theft occurred sometime between 7 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. today on an unnamed block of Fernside Boulevard. They said the stolen items include a tester drill, tools and a tower PC computer.

AUTO THEFT: Police are looking for the person or persons who took a blue 2005 Ford Mustang from the 700 block of Taylor Avenue. Police said the theft took place between 5:45 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. A value estimate was not given.

FRAUD: Police are looking for a person or persons who tried to process forged checks for payment to a third party in Russia. Police said the victim contacted them to say they had answered an Internet ad seeking someone to process payments for a tour company. But police believe the payments were actually forged checks. Additional information was not available.

GRAND THEFT: Police are looking for a person or persons who stole $1,040 worth of stuff from an unlocked vehicle. Police said the theft of items that included sunglasses and a “kit” took place sometime between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. today on an unnamed block of Clinton Avenue.

ARREST: Police arrested a Berkeley man who they believe may be responsible for several bicycle thefts in the area. Police arrested Omar Perez, 29. They said that he was found to be in possession of several burglary and bike tools and that he also had several warrants. Police said Lopez denied he was involved in the thefts. Police said they found Lopez to also be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. Police also arrested Lorie K. Lopez, 26, address not given.

ELDER FINANCIAL ABUSE: Police are looking for a suspect who took an elderly Tideway Drive resident’s credit card from his home and used it. An estimated value of the loss was not given.

AUTO THEFT: Police are looking for the person or persons who took a burgundy 1990 Honda Accord from the 1900 block of Webster Street. Police said the theft occurred between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. An estimated value was not given.

BURGLARY: Police are looking for the person or persons who took $400 worth of camping equipment from a storage closet at a residence in an unnamed block of Clinton Avenue. Police said the theft occurred sometime between 6 p.m. September 16 and 3:30 a.m. today.

DISTURBANCE: Police arrested a 21-year-old Alameda man on charges of creating a disturbance on school grounds and resisting arrest after they said he walked onto the Alameda High School campus and attempted to sit in classrooms. Police arrested Minh Hoang Nguyen at 11:21 a.m. after they said he disrupted a class at the school. Police said Nguyen attempted to leave after police asked him for I.D. and that he was arrested and jailed.

AUTO THEFT: Police are looking for the person or persons who took a blue 2004 Toyota Scion XB from the corner of Oak Street and San Jose Avenue. Police said the theft occurred between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. today. An estimated value was not given.

ROBBERY: Police are looking for several suspects who assaulted a man and stole his sweatshirt. Police said the suspects pulled the victim off his bicycle at around 11:15 p.m. as he rode down the 1400 block of Sixth Street. They said the suspects punched the victim and stole his sweatshirt, which was valued at $35.

ASSAULT: Police arrested an Alameda woman and charged her with assault for shoving a victim in the chest. Police arrested Ashley Ann Coates, 23, for shoving a family member. Police said they have had several calls to the residence.

GRAND THEFT: Police are looking for the person or persons who stole a laptop, cell phone and electronic equipment valued at $6,000 from a vehicle parked in an unnamed block of Westline Drive. Police said the items, which were in plain view in the vehicle, were taken sometime between 8 p.m. Friday and 5:30 a.m. today.

GRAND THEFT: Police are looking for the person or persons who took an iPhone, wallet and stereo valued at $400 from a vehicle parked on the 800 block of West Tower Avenue. Police said the items were left in the glove box of a locked vehicle at 4:45 p.m. and that when the victim returned to the vehicle an hour later, she found her left rear wing window had been smashed and the items taken.

DINE AND DASH: Police say a 50-year-old man ate and ran from a Park Street restaurant valued at $20.07. Police said the man ate at the restaurant in the 1400 block of Park Street at 5:10 p.m., informed his server that he didn’t intend to pay the bill and then made a break for it. Police were unable to locate the man, who they said is a transient.

AUTO THEFT: Police are looking for the person or persons who took a gold 1993 Saturn from the 1400 block of Court Street. Police said the theft of the locked vehicle occurred between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. today. A value estimate was not given.

GRAND THEFT: Police are looking for the person or persons who stole a vehicle subwoofer and stereo system valued at $1,000. Police said the theft occurred between 8 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the 1400 block of Viking Street when a suspect or suspects shattered one of the car’s windows and stole the items.

MARIJUANA FOR SALE: Police are looking for a person or persons whose room at a local motel contained a “large quantity of marijuana” that they believe was intended for sale. Police said they got a 911 hangup call form the motel, in the 400 block of Park Street, shortly after 7:30 a.m. They said that when they responded, they found the marijuana. The amount found was not given, and a value amount also was not listed.

BURGLARY: Police are looking for the person or persons who stole a battery and tools valued at $640 off a boat parked in the 2500 block of Blanding Avenue. Police said the burglary occurred sometime between noon on September 13 an 9 a.m. today.

ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY: Police are looking for the person who attempted to rob a woman at her Regent Street home this morning. Police said that at 11:20 a.m., the suspect arrived at the victim’s residence, grabbed her by the throat, put a gun to her head and demanded money. It was not clear how the woman escaped. Police described the suspect as a male, 6’3″, 245 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes, a dark complexion and short hair. He was last seen wearing a white Cal hat, a blue, button shirt and blue pants.

AUTO THEFT: Police are looking for the person or persons who stole a motorcycle from the carport of an Orion Street apartment building. Police said the theft occurred between 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. today. An estimated value was not given.

    OMG! Thank you for reporting all of this. Clearly, folks cannot leave anything in cars, especially not if visible. More subwoofers! Okay, we can guess someone will soon be starting a stereo equipment booth at one of the weekend flea markets! Someone else, a bike booth! Neighborhood Watch, we LOVE YOU! Alameda Police, ditto!
