Local attorney named to Superior Court bench
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has appointed a local attorney to the Alameda County Superior Court bench, the Oakland Tribune reported Tuesday.
Kimberly M. Briggs, 50, has been an Assistant U.S. Attorney since 1995, the paper reported. Briggs, a registered Democrat, also worked in the Alameda County District Attorney’s office, the paper reported. She has a law degree from Santa Clara University.
Briggs is one of three people Schwarzenegger named to the Alameda County bench on Tuesday, the paper reported.
