logo1Local vintners and chefs are set to take part in the Fourth Annual Urban Wine Experience, which is from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, August 8 at the Jack London Square ferry terminal.

Admission is $45 in advance and $60 at the gate (unless you’re a designated driver – $15 for you) and tickets can be purchased online.

The event features more than a dozen East Bay wineries, including wine from local vintner Bob Lynch’s Irish Monkey Cellars, R&B Cellars, Rock Wall Wine Company and Rosenblum Cellars. Eateries whose food will be paired with the wines include Angela’s Bistro, Asena Restaurant, C’era Una Volta, Culina and Pappo. They’ll also have live reggae music from Pan Extasy.

Jack London Square is along the Embarcadero in Oakland, just through the Tube.
