I got a nice note the other day from local blogger L Opine saying L’s restarted the Knifecatchers real estate blog.
L halted the blog in late May after one too many running gun battles with commenters who took issue with the site’s snarky take on local home listings and a bruising feud with East Bay Regional Data Inc. over use of MLS listing photos.
But now it’s back (sans MLS photos and comments). And, per L:
The goal of this blog is to be an archive of the Alameda real estate market in the late 2000s, not to be a forum to exchange opinions, barbs and jokes or spew belligerent opinions and insult me when I point out your lack of factual support. As such I’ll just keep documenting listings as I have in the past (except less regularly), and you dear readers are welcome to continue reading this blog as if it were a good old-fashioned newspaper editorial.
