5Tomatina, the Park Street Italian restaurant and kiddie fave, is celebrating five years in Alameda this week. And to show their appreciation, they’re offering a host of goodies, starting with free meals for the kids all day today.

Today, they’ll give you one free kids entree with the purchase of an adult entree. On Tuesday, they’re rolling their prices back to 2004. On Wednesday and Thursday, they’ll contribute up to 15 percent of your check (pre-tax and tip) to local nonprofits. They’ve got free garlic rolls (one order per table) all day Friday.

During Saturday’s Art & Wine Faire, they’ve got balloon artist Twistyman on the patio form 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. plus Italian floats, mini cupcakes and slices of cheese pizza. And on Saturday night, they’re giving away free glasses of wine (bring your ID, folks) to toast their success here.

On Sunday, diners will win prizes off a to-be-constructed Amazing Wall of Great Stuff (think key chains, tote bags, coupons and such).

Tomatina is at 1338 Park Street, and their phone number is 521-1000 (they’ve also got flyers with all the info about their events in the window and up front). Their hours are 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
