Local attorney joins state disability panel
Former Alameda Journal editor (and political blogger) Jeff Mitchell passed along this post he wrote the other day about Michael Dean, a local guy and attorney who was just named to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s new Commission on Disability Access.
Dean, 67, is the managing partner of Wendel Rosen Black & Dean in Oakland. His speciality is real estate law.
Jeff’s got the full 411 on Dean and the commission, which is set to study and report to the state Legislature on disability access issues but which, he says, may not meet anytime in the near future because of the state’s budget situation.
Dean is a Republican. The position requires Senate confirmation.
