AUSD CFO quits
Here’s the e-mail from Superintendent Kirsten Vital:
It is with mixed emotions that I announce the departure of Tim Rahill, our Chief Financial Officer. Tim has accepted a position as Chief Business Official for the Benicia Unified School District. Tim has shared that he appreciates the time he was able to spend here, working with the school community on the many different projects addressing student achievement and the major budget challenges. We will be working with School Services of California and the Alameda County Office of Education on obtaining an interim CFO when Tim leaves mid-July. Please join me in thanking Tim for his service and wishing him well in his new position.
Rahill took the job last fall after Luz Cazares left the district for Pleasanton. He had been assistant superintendent for administrative services at the Martinez Unified School District.
No word yet on who our new CFO will be. But we’ll let you know as soon as we find out.
