Lauren’s Closet Emerald Fairies vs. Oakland McDonald’s/Alameda Pediatric Dental Blue Dolphins
The Lauren’s Closet Emerald Fairies braved the rain on Saturday to play the Blue Dolphins. The five girls that played were: Jasmine Palacios, Amaya Soto, Evelyn Dawdy, Kayla Chang, and Maddie Kao. Special thanks to Josh, Jasmine’s dad, for being a really dedicated parent as he goes early and lines the field/installs the bases at every one of our home matches. Josh also pitched to the girls. Justin, Kayla’s dad, stepped in as catcher since we needed all five girls in the outfield. Kayla made an out at third base and Maddie Kao made an out at home plate by running in and tagging a Blue Dolphin player. It was a quick game of two innings, thank goodness because the rain started falling steadily at that point.
