SunCal hosts Point meet for sports families

img_11Revitalize Alameda Point (aka Alameda Point developer SunCal)  is hosting an information night about proposed sports and recreation facilities at Alameda Point at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 21 at Otaez Mexican Restaurant, 1619 Webster Street. A buffet dinner is included.

The evening will include information about SunCal’s plans to build recreational facilities at the Point. The plan includes a 58-acre sports complex at the Point, along with walking trails and bicycle paths, parks and playgrounds.

SunCal is seeking to place its development plan for the Point on the November ballot and is in the process of gathering the signatures it needs to make that happen. The plan includes more than 4,500 new homes, 3.2 million square feet of commercial space, retail, parks, and more. The ballot measure and all the documents that go with it are here.
