Advance Health Chiropractic Orange Cuties vs. the McDonalds South Shore/Alameda Pediatric Dentistry Blue Dolphins
The Advance Health Chiropractic Orange Cuties played one of their best games this year. Sadie Cevallos lead the Cuties with her hitting going two for two. The rest of the team hit the ball well. Hailey Hayes and Lucy Helms both made outstanding plays at first base. The Cuties were led on defense by the great play of Olivia Low, Ruby Jordan and Sophia Middleton. The Orange Cuties and Blue Dolphins celebrated the game with loud cheers for each team.
Advance Health Chiropractic Orange Cuties vs. Piedmont Purple Monsters
April 4 Game
The Advance Health Chiropractic Orange Cuties traveled to Piedmont this weekend and played a very strong Purple Monsters team. They were able to play three complete innings for the second time this season. Audrey Wismar, Ruby Jordan and Stella Cashin all hit the ball well. Grace Maclean made two great plays at second base. Brighid Mahoney also made two great defensive plays at pitcher. The Orange Cuties continue to improve each week. The Orange Cuties and the Purple Monsters gave high fives for all after the game.
Lauren’s Closet Emerald Fairies vs. Gallagher and Lindsey Realtors Red Stars
The Lauren’s Closet Emerald Fairies played the Red Stars. Jasmine Palacio had a great hit down the middle as well as some great fielding. Maddie Kao also had an awesome hit and made a great catch near third base. Vicki Anderer made an excellent catch at first base thrown by Kayla Wong. The Fairies are all swinging at pitches thrown by coach Nicole and are hitting hard. Thanks coaches for your dedication and caring spirit!
Batting Bees 11, McDonald’s Central & Phranklin Management Fearless Frogs 2
The Fearless Frogs took to the field this week with the awesome assistance of two borrowed players. A big shout out to the Golden Dragons for that! The Batting Bees were hitting those flys this week and Ella Duchesneau and Allison Cvitanovic were showing us how to catch them. April McCarver and Casey Chen had the play down from the mound to first. Strong pitching and fielding by the Bees made this game a challenge.
Report from the Batting Bees: Nice hitting by both teams, with an RBI by Emani Vaughn of the Fearless Frogs and four RBIs for Savannah Mesterhazy of the Batting Bees. A double hit by Allison Cvitanovic of the Frogs and a great hit by Danille Archuleta to advance the Bee’s to bring in another run. Trina Eichel of the Bees also brought in 2 RBIs.
McEachern Engineering Alameda Angels 13, Law Offices of Paul Mahler Green Sea Serpents 4
The 10U McEachern Engineering Alameda Angels had a great day on the mound and at the plate and which resulted in a 13-4 victory over the Alameda Sea Serpents. Grace Oransky and Julia Boyden shut down the opposing hitters while posting a combined 13 strikeouts. Hailey McKenna kicked off a two out rally in the first inning with a booming double to center field. Oransky then lashed a single through the infield and soon the Angels had a lead that they would never relinquish. Maura Willow added to the scoring later in the game with a towering drive that scored a run and with some heads-up base running brought Willow across the plate as well. Lastly, Christina McGee, having recently returned from the injured list, knocked in a run on a solid infield hit and stole a base as well.
Gallagher and Lindsey Blue Bombers 6, Alameda Bayside Specialty Construction Black Widows 0
The Bombers got all they would need when Alexis Esparza drove in the first run with a double in the first inning. Meida Tautalatasi struck out four batters in the second and third innings, and combined with Anekaila Crevani to keep the Black Widows scoreless in the five-inning victory.
Report from the Black Widows: The Bayside Construction Black Widows challenged the Gallagher and Lindsey Blue Bombers in a game that ended 6-0. Cool under pressure, Adia Tajima struck out three in a row with bases loaded to end the second inning. Tatiana Kelly superbly scooped as catcher. Meagan Riordan had an excellent at bat, and Viktoria Gilbert made a solid hit against one of Anakeila Crevani’s lightning speed pitches.
