Ferry service for Giants games starts April 8
Heading to the Giants game but you don’t feel like driving? The Alameda/Oakland Ferry will have service to 60 home games starting this coming Wednesday, April 8.
Service for Wednesday’s game departs the Alameda Main Street terminal at 6:15 p.m. and Oakland’s Jack London Square at 6:30 p.m., arriving at AT&T Park at 7:05 p.m. The ferry leaves the park at 11:30 p.m. or 20 minutes after the last out, whichever happens first.
One-way tickets are $7, $5.75 for active military, $4.75 for seniors and $4.25 for kids 5 to 12 and free for kids under 5, and are available on board. The terminals are at 2990 Main Street in Alameda (which has plenty of free parking) and at Clay and Embarcadero in Oakland.
