Your weekend: Rotarians at Rock Wall
The Rotary Club of Alameda is holding a “Wine Tasting by the Bay” fundraiser this Sunday, January 11 at local vintner Kent Rosenblum’s new digs, Rock Wall by the Bay. The event is from 2 to 5 p.m.
The event, which will raise funds for the Rotary’s community grants, includes food from Angela’s Bistro chef Saboor Zafari and two glasses of wine. If memory serves, it’s a barrel tasting – Rosenblum’s new wines, which are not due out ’til February, perhaps?
Tickets are $50, and are available at Abigail’s, 930 Central Avenue; the West Alameda Business Association, 1509 Webster Street; or online at the Rotary’s website.
Rock Wall is at 2100 Monarch Street, on Alameda Point. And if you’re looking for more information on Rosenblum’s new venture, post-buyout – sounds like he’s hoping to host small wineries and events in his new, 40,000-square-foot digs – you can get that right here.
