The process for updating Alameda’s Master Tree Plan continues with a meeting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Thursday, January 29 at City Hall. At this meeting, the city’s consultant on the project will present its citywide tree inventory results and recommend a planting palette for new trees.
The city has not had an update to its tree plan in 20 years. It started this planning process on February 13, 2008. For more information, click here or call Shilpa Patel at 749-5840.
