New election results in

Wednesday was a crazy day in Alameda, no? We found out that there’s a deal on the table for AP&T’s cable biz, that super hater Fred Phelps or at least some of his haterettes will be popping into town for a visit Friday, and that the Boy Scouts are collecting food for the hungry at 9 a.m. Saturday. And then, at 58 seconds past 5 … Alameda County released some new election results!
The update: Measure P is still passing, newbies still rule for the school board … and the two Kevins, Kennedy and Kearney, will still (thankfully) be our treasurer and auditor, in case you had any doubt.

We don’t have an exact number of remaining ballots, but it sounds like we might be pretty close to done – ROV spokesman Guy Ashley said they have “a few thousand” votes left to count.

If you want the full updated results, they’re to your right (in the right rail of the site, for all you subscribers out there).
