Your weekend: Antiques, by the Bay
It’s That Time of the Month again! Antiques By The Bay is hosting its monthly Alameda Point Antiques and Collectibles Faire this Sunday, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. out at the Point (they moved it out to the main runway, at the end of Main Street, a summer or so ago). Admission is $5 to $15, depending on how early you get there.
Our little antiques faire is quite the big deal, apparently: Now five years old, it’s got more than 800 vendors selling stuff that’s 20 years old or older (antiquer? more antiquey?), and it has been featured in Sunset Magazine and on Home and Garden Television’s antiques show, “Flea Market Finds.”
If you need it, you can get more information on the antique faire here
And if you’re looking to make a day of it – by “it” we mean antiquing on the Island – we’ve got loads of little antique shops, including Pauline’s Antiques and Park Street Antiques & Collectibles on Park and Lynn’s of Alameda and Good Better Best on Encinal.
