Superintendent apps closed

Submitted by on 1, October 23, 2008 – 2:00 pmNo Comment

We just got a reminder that the school district has closed the application period for the soon-to-be-vacant superintendent’s job. Trustee Mike McMahon said 30 people applied for the job, which will be open in January when Ardella Dailey retires.

The school board will get an update on how many people met the filing criteria at its meeting Tuesday. Also on Tuesday, they’re slated to discuss the new charter school application submitted by Nea Community Learning Center and to get a brief update about the fiscal turmoil in Sacramento.

We’ll keep you posted; in the meantime, you can also keep an eye on McMahon’s site for further information and updates.
