Votes slowly coming in …

The votes are slowly coming in here in Alameda County, and so far the update is this. Short answer is that Measure H is doing better but still failing, and leaders so far are Loni Hancock over Wilma Chan for state Senate ticket, Dennis Hayashi for judge and Conchita Tucker for the county board of ed. California’s Secretary of State is reporting that 20.7 percent of Alameda County’s registered voters turned out for this election. More to come when there’s more to come …

Yes 5965 votes, 63.62 percent
No 3411 votes, 36.38 percent

NINTH STATE SENATE DISTRICT (Democratic candidate)
42.27 percent precincts reporting
Loni Hancock 28590 votes, 54.69 percent
Wilma Chan 23453 votes, 44.87 percent

38.64 percent precincts reporting
Conchita Tucker 7299 votes, 55.94 percent
Ernest L. Hardmon III 5602 votes, 42.94 percent

51.75 percent precincts reporting
Dennis Hayashi 44305 votes, 42.05 percent
Phil Daly 27123 votes, 25.74 percent
Victoria S. Kolakowski 22002 votes, 20.88 percent
Dennis Reid 11297 votes, 10.72 percent
