Newly released results from the June 3 election show Measure H leading in the vote count. The temporary parcel tax measure now stands at 66.87 percent or 11,397 for, to 33.13 percent or 5,646 against. The tax is now passing with 105 votes to spare. Andy Currid of the Yes on H campaign, which has been observing the vote count, said 540 new provisional votes came in from Alameda today, with 73.33 percent of them in favor of the measure. Apparently there are more provisional votes to count (there were some 6,500 in Alameda County, which elections workers began counting today), though a number is not yet available. “They’ll probably be done tomorrow morning,” a representative at the Reigstrar of Voters said. We’ll update as we get more info.
