New Measure H results are in … and we are now at 66.66 percent or 11,001 votes for, 33.34 percent or 5,502 against. If my math is correct, the measure is still a few votes shy of a win. The county is set to start counting provisional ballots; spokesman Guy Ashley says we could have complete results by Friday. Andy Currid at the Yes on H campaign says he’s hopeful the temporary parcel tax measure, which needs to caputre a full two-thirds of the vote (with the number of “yes” double the number of “no” votes) will win. Says Currid: “Overall, we’re optimistic. The trend of support in all votes cast on election day has consistently been above 70% and if that momentum continues in the provisionals, Measure H should pass.” More to come when there’s more to come …
